Brodie Seagrave Interventions
Tipping the scales for your intervention's success."
Our intervention method is the most effective way that a family, company, or network of friends can use to help a person suffering from addiction.
Dictionary.com defines addiction as,
"the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma".
Intervention is the presenting of reality in a loving, supportive and receivable way to the affected person.
Seagrave Interventions will walk the family through the step by step process of:
1). Evaluating the case to determine if it warrants an intervention.
2). Choosing the appropriate intervention team,
3). Pre-planning treatment options.
4). Holding the pre-intervention meeting.
5). Conducting a successful intervention.
Intervention involves an overall strategy based on preparation, training and family alignment of both purpose and message.
Intervention carries the message to the alcoholic or addict that their family is no longer willing to participate in watching them die a wasted and premature death.
In over ninety-five percent of our cases, interventions result in the affected person accepting help and agreeing to enter clinical treatment. The intervention process shines a spotlight on the toxic, conditioned behavior exhibited by the addict or alcoholic. This illumination is designed to be seen by the family and the addict/alcoholic.
In all cases, the family intervention team is able to take what is truly the most loving action they can for both the alcoholic/addict and themselves. To present a light at the end of the tunnel, a path of treatment and sanity to an alcoholic or addict that is spiraling out of control is the true purpose of an intervention.
Intervention is a transforming and positive journey for all of the family members involved. We have found that successful interventions takes the collective power of the family carrying a message of truth to the alcoholic or addict. Intervention heals...Intervention works.
Our intervention method sharpens the communication skills of the family members or friends involved. Our intervention method aligns the intervention team with a common and unshakable intention: to carry a unified message to the alcoholic or addict that they are sick and that the solution is treatment. Intervention also exposes the unhealthy choices that the surrounding family members are making in their well intentioned but sometimes ineffective attempts to help their loved one. Our Interventions arm a family by coaching them in using the most effective strategies to short circuit the alcoholic or addicts addictive and using behaviors.
Intervention is as much about educating the family and loved ones about how their behavior can actually fuel the bonfire of addiction as it is about corralling the addict. It allows the people involved to know that they have done everything they could to help their loved one. Intervention allows families to get on with their own lives regardless of the outcome. Intervention is a gift of compassion and truth to the affected person.
Intervention is a gift of compassion and truth to each family member or loved one involved.Intervention Heals. Intervention works.
